The Right ABA Provider for You
Finding the right ABA therapy provider for you and/or your loved one is a major decision. We are always here as a community partner and resource. Our first and most important job is to help you understand and feel comfortable with the process.
Your initial ABA therapy consultation is complimentary.
We would love to talk to you over the phone or take you on a tour of one of our ‘Ready for Life’ centers. Our care professionals will take the time to answer your questions and offer any support we can provide.
Meet Your ABA Therapy Team
We personalize your support team to your needs, specific preferences, and spoken language. If you choose ABI, the intake process begins with our administrative support team. While we determine whether you are eligible for insurance coverage, we start to assemble your clinical team. At the same time we start to create a schedule that fit your needs and availability. Your treatment schedule can include ABA therapy in your home, community and at our centers.
You ABA therapy team will include:
- A Board Certified Behavior Analyst to supervise and coordinate treatment
- 1 or more direct support professionals to work 1:1 with you and/or your loved one
- Full access to our administrative support team
- Clinical oversight from the director of clinical services of your ABI center
- Case coordination and treatment planning support from other ABI BCBA’s
- A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will be assigned to your case to personally supervise ABA therapy
Your supervising BCBA clinician will:
- Oversee assessment
- Work with your direct support team to implement ABA therapy
- Coordinate with other professionals providing care
- Conduct training sessions for parents and other caregivers
Every one of our BCBA’s has the support of our administrative team and care coordinators. Excellent administrative support optimizes the time our BCBA’s spend with our participants so that they are focused, organized and available. Your family and caregivers will also have access to these resources throughout the course of treatment.
In addition to your BCBA, one or more direct support professionals or Behavior Technicians (BTs) will be assigned based on initial assessment information. BTs will develop a close relationship with all caregivers as they provide direct services ranging from 5 to 40 hours per week depending on need. Our team recognizes the benefits of having a racially and ethnically diverse workforce to serve our patients and strive to provide culturally appropriate staffing.
Parent training follows the industry leading ‘Behavior Skills Training’ (BST) model. The BST model uses instruction, modeling, rehearsal, and feedback to learn ABA fundamentals. Learning the principles and practices of ABA therapy can produce positive lifelong changes at home and in real life.
Your ABA Therapy Participant Roadmap
Our goal is to prepare our clients to be “Ready for Life” in a manner suitable to their personal roadmap. In additional to offering complimentary consultations, we make educational tools available to all new and current participants and their families. The following ABA therapy participant roadmap is a guide to understand how treatment works.
