ABA at Applied Behavior Institute
At ABI, our mission is to improve the quality of life of all who we serve. We embrace a culture of inclusivity and continuously work to hire, train, and develop a team that shares in our commitment to make positive impacts in our ABA community. We’re proud to offer our ABA to both children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder or with Down syndrome.
ABI clinicians use data-driven methods to deliver treatment that is effective, culturally sensitive, and responsive to the unique and evolving needs of every learner. We use the principles of ABA to work with people of all ages, developmental differences and community backgrounds to acquire vital living skills and gain independence. We currently have six centers in Allston, Bedford, Franklin, Lowell, Methuen, and Worcester.

What We Offer
Our ABA Services
Families
We offer autism and Down syndrome services in the home, community and our centers to support individuals with and their families with our flexible ABA plans. Every case is assigned a supervising BCBA clinician to oversee assessment and implement treatment. We offer ABA services in the home, community and our centers to support individuals with both ASD or trisomy 21 and their families.
Schools
ABI partners with schools and districts to design, build, and maintain comprehensive ABA programs tailored specifically for students with autism and Down syndrome. Guided by the philosophy that “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” our expert consultation and evidence-based behavior analysis strategies catch challenges early to ensure long-term success and inclusion for every learner.
Home & Community
Delivering successful in-home and community-based ABA therapy is the foundation of our specialized autism and Down syndrome treatment programs. Every behavior plan is custom-tailored to the unique needs, developmental profile, age, and cultural background of each client, driving meaningful progress in everyday environments.
Center-Based
Our center-based ABA therapy programs for autism spectrum disorder and Down syndrome accelerate the acquisition of vital life skills, turning foundational learning into real-world independence. By combining structured clinic-based instruction with natural environment teaching (NET), we ensure that clients successfully generalize these skills across everyday settings such as the home, grocery stores, public transportation, libraries, and community recreational centers.
