BCBAs and Professional Track
ABI Mentorship Program: Grow Together. Lead Together.
The ABI Mentorship Program is built to guide aspiring behavior analysts from student to professional. While working in clinical roles, employees gain access to a structured supervision track that aligns with BACB standards and supports the development of strong clinical, ethical, and leadership skills. Participants benefit from individualized supervision, group learning opportunities, and exam preparation, while also contributing to high-quality services for the children and families ABI serves. Our goal is to develop future BCBAs who are not only well-prepared to pass the exam, but also ready to thrive as compassionate, skilled clinicians and leaders within our organization
ABI has created an intentional plan for each professional level employee, with the intention of fostering growth while maximizing long-term professional opportunities. The various roles within this track are outlined below.
Behavior Analyst
ABI seeks out quality BCBAs to make up our Center and Community based BCBA teams. BCBAs design evidence based programming, train and supervise BT/RBTs, and work collaboratively to build center culture and establish highly adaptive learning environments. BCBAs are encouraged to continue to grow by accessing Professional Development opportunities and working closely with mentors and colleagues.
Lead Behavior Analyst
ABI provides stand out BCBAs the opportunity to move into the role of Lead Behavior Analyst within the center-based BCBA team. Lead Behavior analysts contribute to providing high quality onboard training to BT/RBTs, promote center-wide ongoing training initiatives, provide mentorship to graduate students, and work closely with the Center Director to promote culture and learning opportunities within the center.
Senior Behavior Analyst
ABI recognizes the value of clinical expertise within each center and across the organization. Senior Behavior Analysts are BCBAs with advanced experience or expertise in the field, and passion for disseminating quality clinical services. These clinicians often provide mentorship to BCBAs who are newer to the field, and contribute to overall program quality through participation in organization-wide clinical excellence initiatives.
Center Director
Center Directors oversee all clinical and operational components of service delivery within their assigned center and within affiliated home and community based settings. They apply their experience and clinical expertise in mentoring BCBAs within their setting, while balancing OBM practices to produce quality outcomes and oversee center operations. As the captain of the ship, Center Directors work closely with the Administrative and Clinical leadership team in their center to promote consistent messaging and practice as it relates to clinical excellence, performance outcomes, and workplace culture.
